Vail ski information
One of the world’s top ski resorts, Vail has it all from an attractive, vibrant village to a huge ski area with endless skiing. The front side of the mountain is tree lined with runs cut to suit all levels of skier, from gentle beginner slopes to steeps and moguls for the more advanced. Go over the top to the backside and you find the powder bowls Vail is famous for, after a big snowfall of light Colorado powder there are few better places to be on Earth. Sitting at the base of the mountain Vail Village is connected to the newly remodelled Lionshead area by a short shuttle or 5 minute walk and these two villages offer the majority of evening entertainment, both having easy access to the slopes. Vail Cascade is a luxury resort in its own picturesque setting and a popular choice due to its array of facilities and ski-in/ski-out convenience.
