Park City ski resort guide

Park City ski information

Park City is said to have 'The Greatest Snow on Earth' and this is not far from the truth. When the snow falls in Utah it is incredibly dry meaning the powder is as light as it comes, making it easy for even those new to the sport to enjoy deep, and a day with snow up to your thighs is not unusual with the area receiving over 9m in an average season. Park City is made up of three ski resorts Park City, The Canyons and Deer Valley, each one having its own character and between the three offering endless terrain for all abilities. Our accommodation is all based in and around Park City which is the old mining town in the centre of the ski areas, having oodles of charm and some great après-ski.

Representatives (Reps)

During your stay you will have the services of a remote rep who can be contacted 24 hours a day if you need assistance. There is no rep based in this resort but we will provide full pre-departure info for you.

Skiing and snowboarding in Park City

Ski Information Beginners

Start on the 'first Timer' lift in Park City before progressing on to long, cruising runs like Claimjumper and Bonanza where you can go from top to bottom, perfect for novice skiers. Deer Valley's gentle runs will soon build up confidence.

Ski Information Intermediates

Glide through the powder in the aspen glades around the Motherlode and Thaynes chairlifts in Park City or the dramatic scenic runs of The Canyons. Deer Valley is a cruiser's paradise and perfect if you like neat corduroy.

Ski Information Advanced

Take on the challenge of the superb powder and bump skiing available in all the great resorts of Utah and for real fanatics, at Park City, you can keep on skiing right through until 7pm. The Canyons is particularly good for steep tree skiing and powder and Jupiter Bowl in Park City will work those knees.

Ski Information Snowboarding

If backcountry is your thing then check out Pine Cone Ridge for your powder fix and trees. If jumping is more your priority you will not be disappointed, the area has an Olympic sized half-pipe and wicked board park with hits, spines and gaps.
