Verbier ski resort guide

Verbier ski information

Without doubt one of the top five ski areas in the world, Verbier offers four valleys, with some seriously steep gradients. As with most premier resorts, the quality of the après-ski matches the challenges on the mountain, stamina is required!

Skiing and snowboarding in Verbier

Ski Information Beginners

Verbier boasts some lovely, sunny, nursery slopes for beginners just above the village centre and on Savoleyres, with its tree-lined runs down to La Tzoumaz. New 'magic carpet' lifts have been installed in the Esserts beginner area.

Ski Information Intermediates

This huge ski-playground of the Verbier/Mont Fort area alone, offers some of the most varied skiing in the Alps with 206kms of runs served by 43 lifts.

Ski Information Advanced

An absolute paradise, with hundreds of new challenges every day. The Jumbo Mont Fort cable car will take you up to the glacier and the notorious Tortin snow bowl with its phenomenally high bumps from top to bottom.

Ski Information Snowboarding

Verbier has a great domain for freeriders with accessible powder, trees, wide pistes and the Snowpark has 4 lines of jumps and rails. The Verbier Nissan Xtreme Freeride Contest is held here every year.
