With its dramatic, fairytale scenery and beautiful lake, Lake Bled’s Narnia-like beauty is sure to blow you away. If you want to combine culture, shopping and other winter activities, this is the resort for you. It’s also a superb base for skiing, giving you access to four Slovenian ski resorts via an efficient bus system, as well as Austrian and Italian slopes.
Ski information:
Beginners:
With the opportunity to learn to ski in a number of ski areas, Lake Bled is the perfect base. At Kravavec and Vogel there are some long, wide blue runs to gain confidence. There is also the opportunity to ski the perfect beginners area of Kranjska Gora, just a 45 minute drive from Bled. Instruction in English is of a high standard.
Intermediates:
The perfect base for intermediates with the opportunity to try a different ski areas each day of your holiday, easily accessible by an efficient bus system from right outside the hotels. Kravavec and Vogel have a range of red runs, and our resort team are on hand to advise on skiing in Austria and Italy.
Advanced:
Again, a perfect base for those wishing to explore a number of areas. After a few day's in the Slovenian areas, we're sure you will enjoy the immense skiing available in Austria and Italy, just over the border and available through our resort team.
Snowboarding:
All ski areas are welcoming for Snowboarders, with excellent instruction in English to perfect your technique. For the more advanced boarder, enjoy the Slovenian areas and then head into Austria or Italy, a short drive away for some serious boarding action.
Learn To
LEARN TO packages include 6 days of 2 hours ski or board school, 6 days equipment hire and 6 days local lift pass. Please note: the prices are only available if pre-booked before departure. If ski or snowboard packs are not pre-booked, prices could treble in resort. LEARN TO packages are for absolute beginners only and must be pre-booked in the UK.
