Skiing and snowboarding in Kranjska Gora
Beginners:
A very good place to learn to ski and improve with an excellent ski school and English speaking instructors. There is a good choice of nursery slopes and plenty of wide runs near the village.
Intermediates:
Intermediates will gain maximum advantage from the wide variety of runs on the Vitranc, not only because of the diversity of terrain, but also because of the fantastic descent through the tree lined pistes.
Advanced:
Experienced skiers should immediately head for the challenging black pistes of the Podkoren Mountain, where they will also have the opportunity to tackle the World Cup slalom run.
Snowboarding:
This is a great introductory resort and good instruction is available. This area also offers some good terrain for freeriding.

Kranjska Gora is a great choice for families with a Pepi Penguin Club and Whizz Kids Club in the resort, run by our sister company Crystal. KIDS Ski Free: Children aged up to 5 years can use the ski lifts for free, but must always be accompanied by an adult. (5 year olds booking ski school must pre-book a lift pass). FREE lift pass, ski school and ski and boot hire OR 'First Time' ski or board package for one chiled when 2 adults pre-book the same. For departures 06/03 to end of the season. 2 for 1 Lift Pass: Two 6 day lift passes for the price of one for departures on 16/01.
