Niseko ski resort guide

Niseko ski information

The ski resorts of Hokkaido, Japan's northerly island have some of the best powder snow in the world. This island of extinct volcanos pulls in northerly winds and fluffy snow to provide a skiing heaven with an excellent range of runs set amongst silver birch woodlands. The Niseko mountain has three ski areas and three villages, Annupuri, Higashiyama and Grand Hirafu which are all connected at the base with a free shuttle bus which runs into the evening. Rusutsu has a breathtaking location at the foot of Mt. Yotei. It is a self-contained resort with skiing over three mountains. Japan should feature on everyone's list of unmissable ski destinations - no other area offers such a unique blend of culture and fantastic skiing.
