Val di Fassa ski information

In the middle of the UNESCO protected Dolomites and within the Val di Fassa area, Canazei is a charming, traditional Italian village with a bustling centre, interesting architecture and warm local people. Sitting directly on the Sella Ronda circuit, you’ll be ideally placed to explore a different ski area every day.

Around the Sella Massif, the famous Sella Ronda ski circuit is around 40km long, with lifts and runs that can be skied in either direction. In the immense Dolomites, which has a good snow record and an interchangeable lift pass, giving you access to over 400 lifts, the resorts of Selva and Canazei sit directly on the Sella Ronda circuit, with easy access also available from Campitello, with all these resorts offering good value and high accommodation standards.

Ski Information Beginners

Novices at Canazei can start on the village slope before taking the Belvedere gondola to the wide, undulating runs at Pecol. Campitello has one beginners' run at village level and at the top of the Col Rodella cable car several blue runs.

Ski Information Intermediates

From Canazei and Campitello there is direct access to the famous Sella Ronda. This 26kms route encircles the Sella Massif and can be used to ski the extensive areas of Arabba, Corvara, Colfosco and Val Gardena.
