Santa Cristina ski information
New to First Choice for the forthcoming season, is the resort of Santa Cristina, which lies in the heart of the Dolomites. This area received UNESCO World Heritage Site status in 2009 and are recognised as some of the most neautiful mountains in the world. The village of Santa Cristina is located at the foot of the famous Saslong World Cup ski run, and, access to the famous 26km circular Sella Ronda tour is simple - by jumping on a skibus up to Selva which is just 2km away, or skiing over from the top of Ciampinoi. The whole area has excellent snow-making facilities, guaranteeing cover throughout the season. Santa Cristina is a traditional Tirolean style village with a number of hotels, bars and restaurants, well linked by bus to the main town of the valley, Ortisei, as well as Selva.
