In the heart of the extensive Gran Massif ski area, Flaine offers varied runs and reliable snow. Right on the slopes, it has a scenic setting and beautiful views. The traffic-free village has good children's facilities, a few bars and a nightclub for laid-back apres-ski.
Skiing and snowboarding in Flaine
Beginners:
With its family-friendly reputation, Flaine has excellent nursery slopes close to the village, with a couple of gentle local blue runs to progress to.
Intermediates:
A great resort for confident intermediates, with a variety of pistes for improving technique, from rolling runs to shorter steeper sections.
Advanced:
With some seriously challenging terrain, steep pistes and impressive gradients, Flaine offers great fun for the experts, with much of it off-piste.
Snowboarding:
With three big terrain parks, boarders can enjoy green, red and black options and kids have their very own JamPark Kids.
