Situated between the mighty Kitzbüheler Horn and the stunning Wilder Kaiser mountains, St. Johann is in a truly glorious setting. With the Schneewinkel lift pass covering St. Johann, Steinplatte and Fieberbrunn, the resort is a great base for mixed groups of skiers. St. Johann has good transport links to the Ski Welt and Kitzbühel ski areas so you can pre-book a Kitzbühel Alpen Lift pass and explore these extensive areas also. With a traditional feel and good choice of bars and restaurants, St. Johann has something for everyone.

Ski Information Beginners
Novices will benefit from a vast range of wide-open, well-maintained nursery areas and long blue runs. The excellent ski school will ease you through the first few days and have you tackling those slopes in no time.
Ski Information Intermediates
St. Johann offers many red and blue runs varying from open pistes to wide wooded glades. However the Schneewinkl area pass also covers several nearby areas (linked by free ski bus) including the Steinplatte, Fieberbrunn and St. Jakob, unfurling a variety of runs and plenty of scope for the intermediate, plus an excellent snow record.
Ski Information Advanced
Powderhounds will enjoy the varied off-piste diversions offered by the 'Schneewinkel' area pass, with excellent snow records and often plenty of powder opportunities, particularly on the Steinplatte and Fieberbrunn areas.
Ski Information Snowboarding
St Johann is a friendly resort with good terrain for all levels. There is a snowboard park for riders who fancy testing their skills on the kickers as well as some good red runs and off-piste opportunities in Fieberbrunn and Steinplatte. Beginners are well catered for with good nursery slopes.

Ski schools: Ski School St. Johann has an excellent team of instructors, for all levels and ages. Children from 4 years old can learn to ski with the Bobo Clubs, and older children (11-15 years incl.) can further develop their skiing skills with the 'Junior Talent School' - designed to develop race skills. Perhaps your child will become the next Finlay Mickel or Chemmy Alcott!'Panoramabad': After a day's skiing the whole family can enjoy the fun of the 'Panoramabad' leisure centre - free entrance is provided by all our hotels, and includes use of the indoor pool, children's pool, flume and outdoor heated pool.
