Arinsal ski information
Arinsal is known for its great atmosphere in the evenings, with a variety of restaurants and a wide selection of reasonably priced lively bars. A torchlight descent is another way to spend your evening and Andorra is great for duty-free shopping.
Although the areas aren’t physically linked, the Arinsal Pal ski area now shares a lift pass with Ordino Arcalis to create the Vallnord ski area. Beginners and intermediates are well catered for in Arinsal and Pal, while those seeking a greater challenge can take a short bus journey to Ordino Arcalis.
Skiing and snowboarding in Arinsal
Beginners:
There is a great selection of nursery runs and plenty of easy runs to progress on to, all of which are easily accessible. The ski school is excellent and has a large number of English-speaking instructors, making this resort brilliant for beginners.
Intermediates:
The Cota area at around 7,000 ft offers a variety of red and blue runs and to really test your skills, ski back down to the middle station or take the Les Fonts chairlift for a long, wide downhill run. Pal also has a great selection of long wide reds for perfecting those carving turns!
Advanced:
Adventurous skiers can try the steep, exciting runs off the Pic Negre and Pic alt de la Capa for mogul fields. The ski school offers advanced slalom racing and off-piste clinics.
Snowboarding:
Access to most of the mountain is by chair lifts and there are almost no flat areas. Arinsal has a terrain park and overall this resort is very boarder friendly.

Childrens Facilities
Pre-book the ski school run creche (Babyclub) for children 1-4 years £75 for 5 days x 3 hrs. There is also a Snow garden (4-8 years), snow-play and lessons at the top of the gondola (approx. £75 for 5days x 3 hrs). Supervision by qualified staff. Lunch & ski equipment not included, (prices include a booking fee).
